Aviator Hotel Wedding Photography, Hampshire
Josh and Chloe got married at the amazing venue of The Aviator in Farnborough, Hampshire. They had such a chilled and romantic day, I absolutely loved photographing it! The morning was a relaxed and fun few hours with Chloe getting ready in one of the stunning suites at The Aviator. Her maids were all getting dressed up too with Catherine Taylor doing all the hair and make-up. Chloe looked incredible once in her dress and I couldn’t wait for Josh to see her!
Ceremony Room at The Aviator
The ceremony room downstairs at the Aviator is wonderfully light and spacious, with a wall of glass down one side looking out towards the airport, it’s certainly a unique space and I love photographing ceremonies there as straight afterwards you can open up the doors and spill straight out into the seated area for relaxed drinks. For Josh and Chloe’s wedding when I arrived into the ceremony room, Josh was busy getting all their guests and I took lots of candid photos of him and the guests mingling before the big event!
Once all seated, the room hushed to a quiet and soft music played, as Chloe’s bridesmaids in burgundy dresses floated down the aisle. I could feel Josh was nervous but as soon as he saw Chloe a big grin appeared on his face and it was so beautiful seeing them laugh and smile once they greeted each other. The ceremony was emotional and wonderful. These two are just meant to be together.
Afterwards everyone grabbed a well deserved glass of bubbly to celebrate Josh and Chloe’s marriage.
Indoor photos at The Aviator
Due to it being an October wedding the weather was a little a bit of a challenge. But I love to rise to a challenge so for the big group shot and couple photos we explored the beautiful and unique interior of The Aviator. I did persuade Chloe and Josh to step out with a brolly for a few romantic rainy shots too!
Once all the couple and group shots were done everyone piled upstairs to the lavish and glamorous Sky Lounge space. Dark and luxurious in design it’s a very chic and romantic space for a wedding breakfast. Josh and Chloe had the tables decorated with candelabras, red and pink roses and ivy, so romantic and decadent.
The speeches were hilarious and emotional but the best bit, which I’ve never seen at a wedding before! Was the best man and Josh had a playstation race on a big screen with everyone watching!! It was brilliant! Josh won and received a small but perfectly formed trophy! Hahaha!! Then the dancing started! Led by Josh and Chloe’s cute first dance. All I can say is those guests could not wait to get on the dance floor!!
